Job Description

Part-Time Math & Science Teacher (Algebra I & Biology)

Our Yeshiva high school is seeking a part-time Math and Science Teacher to teach Algebra I and Biology .

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students build strong academic foundations while preparing them for success in more advanced coursework, including Geometry and AP Chemistry . Responsibilities include developing and delivering an engaging curriculum that supports students with varying skill levels and promotes measurable academic growth.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday
Approximately 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (some flexibility for an earlier start time)

Calendar
Our school follows the Jewish academic calendar. We ask that teachers be available to teach on regularly scheduled school days, including days when many public schools may be closed for federal or Christian holidays, unless those days coincide with our school calendar. Please inquire regarding accommodations.

Qualifications

Experience teaching high school mathematics and/or science
Ability to develop lesson plans and adapt instruction to students with diverse learning needs
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Teaching credential preferred but not required, depending on experience
