Job Type: Full-Time Location: LA Community Hospital - Los Angeles Schedule: Monday-Friday and Every Other Weekend Shift: 11:00am-7pm Key Responsibilities SupervisionandCoordination: Theleadhousekeeperoverseesthehousekeepingstaff,assigningtasksandensuringthatallcleaningandmaintenancedutiesareperformedtothehigheststandards.Theycoordinatewithotherdepartments,suchasfrontdeskandmaintenance,toensuresmoothoperations. And perform other duties as assigned. TrainingandDevelopment:Theyareresponsiblefortrainingnewhousekeepingstaffonpropercleaningtechniques,safetyprocedures,andtheuseofcleaningchemicals.Thisincludesprovidingongoingsupportandguidancetoensureallteammembersadheretoestablishedstandards. QualityControl:Theleadhousekeeperinspectsroomsandcommonareasforcleanlinessandpropersetup,addressinganyissuesordeficienciesimmediately.Theyensurethatallareasmeettheorganization’sexpectationsforhygieneandpresentation. InventoryManagement: Managingtheinventoryofcleaningsuppliesandlinensisacrucialduty.Theleadhousekeeperplacesordersasnecessarytomaintainadequatestocklevelsandensuresthatallcleaningequipmentissafeandwell-maintained. Customer Service: Handlingguestcomplaintsrelatedtohousekeepingservicesispartoftherole.Theleadhousekeepertakesimmediateactiontoresolveissuestotheguest’ssatisfaction,promotingapositiveexperience. Ability to interact with other hospital staff members, visitors, and patients in a friendly, cooperative manner. RecordKeeping: Theymaintainrecordsonstaffperformance,guestsatisfactionlevels,andcompliancewithhealthandsafetyregulations.Thisincludessettingupstaffschedulesandmanagingovertimehoursasneeded. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required. Skills: Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy carts up to 100lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
