We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist to join our private practice, focusing on the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves direct interaction with young patients and their parents or guardians, providing comprehensive dental care using advanced pediatric dental technologies such as digital radiography and laser dentistry. Starting with one day a week, there is potential to expand hours and explore ownership opportunities within the practice.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans
- Provide preventive care and fluoride treatments
- Perform dental procedures including restorations and extractions
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Provide emergency dental care as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate effectively with dental team members
- Counsel parents and guardians directly regarding treatment and care plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience or specialization in Pediatric Dentistry
- State Dental License with pediatric dentistry certification
- Strong patient communication and child behavior management skills
- Knowledge of infection control and emergency response protocols
- Ability to work well within a team and manage records efficiently
- Empathy and understanding towards young patients and their families
- Familiarity with digital radiography and laser dentistry technologies
