CHEF DE PARTIE - PIZZAIOLO

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.

2. 2 years experience in the culinary field

3. Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.

4. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

5. Must pass with satisfactory results, a cooking demo for the chef.

Desirable:

1. Culinary college degree

2. Food handling certificate

3. Sanitation Certificate.

4. Ability to communicate in multiple languages

As a skilled Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for:

1. Pizza Preparation: Skillfully creating dough, stretching and shaping it into uniform crusts, and assembling toppings in an aesthetically pleasing and efficient manner.
2. Ingredient Selection: Ensuring the freshness and quality of ingredients used, adhering to established recipes, and following portion control guidelines.
3. Cooking Expertise: Operating pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment to achieve optimal cooking temperatures and times, resulting in perfectly cooked and flavorful pizzas.
4. Menu Innovation: Collaborating with the culinary team to brainstorm and develop new pizza creations that reflect seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and emerging food trends.
5. Quality Control: Maintaining a consistent standard for the taste, appearance, and presentation of each pizza, and promptly addressing any quality issues or deviations from the recipe.
6. Kitchen Hygiene: Adhering to strict sanitation and food safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following proper handwashing and hygiene practices.
7. Order Management: Accurately receiving and processing customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate preparation, and coordinating with the front-of-house team to fulfill orders efficiently.
8. Team Collaboration: Working closely with other kitchen staff members, including chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth and coordinated kitchen operation.
9. Equipment Maintenance: Assisting in the cleaning, maintenance, and regular upkeep of kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and preparation stations.
10. Customer Interaction: Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions, and providing exceptional service.
