Purple DriveSenior Data Architect Share Contractual Irving, TXOverview:Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Data ManagementKey Responsibilities:Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards.Architect end-to-end data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and integration patterns.Lead modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to cloud-based data ecosystems.Define data governance, metadata management, lineage, and data quality frameworks.Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.Design real-time and batch data processing architectures.Provide architecture guidance to development teamsEstablish enterprise standards for master data management (MDM), reference data, and analytics enablement.Support AI/ML, reporting, BI, and advanced analytics initiativesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering.Expertise in SQL and database technologiesHands-on experience with Cloud Platforms:Amazon Web Services (AWS)Microsoft AzureGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience with Big Data & Data Processing:Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, DatabricksStrong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools:Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, AirflowExperience with Cloud Data Warehouses:Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, DatabricksExpertise in data modeling techniques:Conceptual, Logical, Physical Data ModelsDimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)Data Vault ModelingFamiliarity with data governance tools and frameworks.Experience in API integrations, microservices, and event-driven architecture.Knowledge of Generative AI / AI-ready data architectureKnowledge of data mesh, data fabric, and modern data platformsArchitecture & Leadership:Domain expertise in Banking and Financial sectorStrong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.Experience defining data standards, reusable frameworks, and architecture governance.Ability to lead architecture discussions with CXOs, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.Preferred Certifications:AWS Certified Data Analytics / Solutions ArchitectSnowflake CertificationDatabricks CertificationTOGAF (mandatory)
