Job Description & Requirements Specialty & Discipline Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab | Discipline: RN Assignment Details Location: New York, NY 10025 Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM); 12 hours per shift, 3 × 11.5‑hour shifts per week Schedule: 3 x 11.5‑hour shifts per week No weekends Employment Type: Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract Assignment, Day Shift) Position Overview The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-pace cardiac procedural environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status before, during, and after procedures. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR. Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in patient throughput, care coordination, and discharge planning activities. Requirements Active New York RN License BLS Certification ACLS Certification Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (Required) Minimum 2 years of RN experience Telemetry experience required Previous travel experience preferred EPIC experience highly preferred BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Prime Staffing
