AmeriCorps is seeking a dedicated individual for the Affordable Housing and Economic Development VISTA position in Chicago, IL, from September 2026 until September 2027. This role focuses on enhancing the capacity of the housing development team and increasing the affordable housing stock. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mission-driven, and adaptable. Key responsibilities include building capacities for faster placement of families into housing, improving operational systems, and enhancing the organization’s marketing approach.
