How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the development of individualized pulmonary care plans by assessing patient diagnoses to determine the most effective treatment type and frequency. Optimize patient outcomes by performing advanced respiratory care and vigilantly monitoring clinical conditions to ensure the highest standard of treatment. Evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory practices and medication administration, proactively adjusting plans of care to ensure patients are reaching their recovery goals. Empower patients and their families by providing clear education on their health conditions and connecting them with vital community resources and support programs. Respond with precision and expertise as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving interventions when they are needed most. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
