As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire 2nd Shift production process. Responsibilities: Develop and implement production plans in line with company objectives and targets. Coordinate with different departments to ensure the smooth execution of production processes. Monitor the production process, make on-the-spot decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement. Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, ensuring that all procedures are carried out according to established standards. Analyze production data and implement improvements in line with findings. Manage budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning processes. Ensure that health and safety regulations are met at all times. Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on production progress. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to maintain product consistency and high quality. Identify training needs and provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Sheet-metal fabrication / heavy manufacturing industry. Proven experience in production planning and manufacturing processes. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Strong understanding of quality control standards and health & safety regulations. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work. Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management. Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
