Project Manager

Project Manager As a Project Manager at South Shore Millwork, you will ensure that each custom millwork project is executed seamlessly, on time, and within budget. You establish relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining ongoing communication throughout the project. Using your leadership skills, you direct all phases of the project, coordinating with customers and internal departments. Your responsibilities include developing accurate estimates, tracking costs, reviewing architectural drawings, requisitioning materials, managing the shop fabrication process, coordinating team meetings, verifying dimensions prior to fabrication, generating accessory quantity takeoffs, reviewing vendor delivery performance, specifying shipping dates, and conducting project audits upon completion. You see each project through to the end by subcontracting installations, conducting job site reviews, ensuring documentation is entered into the database, and ensuring the finished products meet the highest quality standards. Qualifications for a Project Manager High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in millwork or a related industry Knowledge about architectural woodworking materials, methods, standards, and millwork production Ability to interpret architectural and design drawings Ability to take field measurements Installation, shop floor, engineering, fabrication, or purchasing experience is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills are required, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment is essential.
