Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics)

At Lead The Way Therapy, we serve children through both Early Intervention and private clinic‑based therapy, helping families in the northwest suburbs who are waiting for services or looking for individualized care. What You’ll Do Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to assess developmental, sensory, and motor needs. Develop individualized, family‑centered goals and treatment plans. Provide play‑based therapy sessions both in the clinic and in natural environments (homes, daycares) for early intervention clients. Support children’s growth through engaging, floor‑time style interactions that promote connection, communication, and regulation. Document sessions and progress in alignment with professional and insurance requirements. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to support the whole child. Empower families with strategies to continue progress at home. Who You Are Licensed Occupational Therapist (Illinois) – required. Experienced or interested in working with children from birth to school‑age. Passionate about play‑based learning, sensory integration, reflex integration and relationship‑driven care. Organized, collaborative, and eager to keep learning. Experience or interest in DIR/Floortime or Early Intervention – mentoring and training provided! Why Join Lead The Way Therapy?
