Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight in Perth Amboy, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support site operations with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach. A TSA-issued TWIC is required. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site policies. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
