Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of California
• Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in educational or pediatric environments
• Familiarity with school-based documentation, IEP processes, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
• Time management skills to manage caseloads and deadlines efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students as identified through IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation in classroom routines and activities
• Implement evidence-based interventions that promote fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on ongoing assessments and observations
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings to provide professional insights and recommendations for student accommodations and modifications
