Schedule (days/hours) 7 AM–5 PM Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures Take dental radiographs (X‑rays) and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post‑procedure care Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols Support smooth patient flow and a positive experience from check‑in to check‑out Collaborate closely with the clinical team to deliver efficient, high‑quality care Qualifications Meet all state‑specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Preferred Qualifications Dental assistant experience preferred Strong communication and patient‑care skills A positive, team‑first attitude Attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment Passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for Join a Team That Cares At Midwest Dental in Appleton, you’ll find a supportive team, a welcoming patient community, and a workplace where your contributions truly matter.
