Customer Service & Claims Support Specialist (Contract)

Pay: $21.33/hour

Schedule: Part-time (Mon–Fri, ~32 hours/week, flexible daytime hours)

Location: Colchester, VT 05446

Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to provide front desk support in a claims office. This role involves working directly with customers to assist with total loss claims, ensuring accurate documentation and a positive, supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing in-person support
• Review, verify, and collect claim documents for accuracy and completeness
• Process payments and enter claim data into internal systems
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, mailing, scanning, and supply management
• Complete tasks from internal queues and support team operations as needed

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of face-to-face customer service experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

• Insurance experience or Notary (or willingness to obtain)
