In this role, you will focus on clients within ICP (Industrial and Consumer Products) or FBA (Food/Beverage/Agriculture) or both industry sectors. What you will do:

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various assurance and consulting services to industry specific clients: Proactively engage with your clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered.
• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with your clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

Qualifications Successful candidates will have:

• 4-year degree required, and must be CPA eligible CPA preferred Three (3) years of experience providing assurance/auditing services within a professional services firm.
• Experience with ICP (Industrial and Consumer Products) or FBA (Food/Beverage/Agriculture) preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

The pay rate ranges for this job position are posted below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.

Benefits package includes:

• In Rancho Cordova/Sacramento (CA): the pay rate range is $91,000 to $145,350
• In Fresno (CA): the pay rate range is $79,400 to $108,900
