This is a perfect opportunity for those passionate about making a difference in the medical field.ResponsibilitiesSafely and promptly transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their comfort and safety.Communicate any patient care needs or situations to the clinical staff effectively.Ensure all transport equipment is functional, clean, and ready for use.Collaborate with other medical professionals to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.Assist in the movement and positioning of patients as required.QualificationsHigh School graduate or GED required.Previous medical background experience preferred.Nursing Assistant Level I certification preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Physical Attributes: Stamina and endurance to walk or stand for long periods.Strength to lift and move patients and equipment, often involving weights up to 50 pounds or more.Good hand-eye coordination for operating transport equipment and assisting patients.Flexibility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as necessary.Balance and coordination to maintain stability while moving patients and navigating hospital corridors.
