Job Overview This position provides strategic and proactive HR consulting and operational support to employees, managers, and executives of RSC functions and brands that drives business results and supports our people-focused culture. Guides and supports RSC leaders and employees through each phase of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and hiring, training and development, engagement and reward & recognition, and separation. Roles and Responsibilities Delivers Strategic Talent Acquisition Support to RSC Functions: Serves as a strategic partner to function leaders to hire the best talent, develops strong relationships and delivers professional talent acquisition service while ensuring positive applicant experience. Leads and facilitates the requisition, interview, selection and hiring processes and related applicant tracking system responsibilities (e.g., resume screening, background screens, candidate communication). Serves as subject matter expert on talent acquisition related topics such as compensation, benefits, relocation. Training and Talent Development: Evolves orientation and onboarding processes; periodically leads New Hire Orientation and Quarterly Connections. Plans, develops and implements strategies to improve business unit effectiveness and build diverse talent pipelines via Talent Reviews, Career Pathing and related efforts. Serves as a focal point with RSC employees and leaders on career development and counseling, leveraging learning and development for further support. Champions an Engaging Culture: Partners with leaders to develop, communicate, and implement culture-building initiatives, employee engagement processes, and recognition programs; leads projects to improve programs and business unit engagement. Provides Proactive Employee Relations Consulting and Insights: Supports employee relations needs, facilitates conflict resolution, and coaches leaders. Leads and supports other HR processes: Provides operational support, assists in interpreting policies, prepares separation notices, and supports leaders in related conversations. Strategizes with RSC HR Leader to implement key processes including the Performance Management Process and development strategies. Partners with Compensation leaders on the annual year-end compensation process. Required Technical Skills Minimum 6 years of professional HR experience as a Generalist or multiple specialist roles, or a combination of relevant HR and management experience with proven success coaching, leading, and developing large teams. Solid understanding of HR practices and related employment laws. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or relevant years of experience. Strong collaboration skills and ability to gain consensus through personal influence. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead in a matrix environment. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and address multiple simultaneous challenges. Preferred Skills and Experience Organization Development and/or Talent Acquisition experience.
