Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory assessments—covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, remedy discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your current certification throughout your employment.
