Job Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for their accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Help with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, assist in training new colleagues or students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Keep a safe and clean workspace while following all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Licensure

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your career here.
