Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Position Overview Taylor Corporation is a dynamic, family‑owned print and communications company. We are proud to offer DailyPay, which enables employees to receive pay on their first day. We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee our second shift production teams (Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–1:00am). The role involves leading shift operations across a fast‑paced environment, ensuring proper staffing, clear communication, efficient workflow, and quality controls to support daily output and customer commitments. Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Responsibilities Ensure staffing levels are sufficient for all daily print requirements and projects due each day. Provide nightly updates on the progress of production areas. Report all issues and delays by email directly to the Production Manager and the CSR responsible for the account, ensuring documented communication. Review Production TOS Boards, including audit schedule, cleaning schedule, monthly A4 report, and updated metrics. Ensure all print devices pass G7 color‑management standards at the start of each shift. Ensure all production departments are clean and restored to order at the end of each shift. Attend afternoon production meetings. Review upcoming projects and proactively communicate concerns and follow‑up actions. Ensure all large digital orders have first‑sheet signoff before the project begins. Required Qualifications Read, interpret, and decipher written instructions from documents such as work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, or other job‑specific documents. Speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees. Perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Prior leadership experience. Digital print experience. Understanding of color substrate. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of leadership experience in a production environment.
