Individually and together, our employees are dedicated to satisfying the mission of our organization which is an unwavering commitment to excellence as we care for the sick and injured; educate physicians, nurses and other health care providers; and improve access to care in the communities we serve, regardless of a patient's ability to pay for health care.The Compensation Analyst assists in performing job classification, analysis and pricing, as well as other functions to support the overall administration of the organization's compensation programs.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluates new and existing job requests, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptionsConducts market analysis of jobs to determine competitive positioning within the internal pay structureContributes organizational data to, and analyzes results of, compensation surveysReviews various compensation requests and provides appropriate salary recommendationsReviews and approves incoming compensation changes submitted through Workday, which include ERC supportReviews and audits compensation related data in an effort to enhance data integrityAssists on various team initiativesOther duties as assignedPhysical and Sensory Requirements:Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and vision monotony.Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or other related field required and/or equivalent related work experience.PHR/SPHR Certification preferredTraining and Experience:Three years of experience in Human Resources requiredPrevious experience in a compensation role preferredPrevious experience in healthcare preferredProficient in Microsoft Office with a focus in excel. Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations and an ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
