Security Analyst

Security AnalystOur client, a government agency in the public sector, is seeking a Security Analyst II to join their team. As a Security Analyst, you will be part of the Information Security Department supporting security administration and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to security challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Madison, WI - Remote - Must be Wisconsin residentDuration: 12+ months with highly possible extensionWhat's the Job?Implement and maintain security policies related to authentication, authorization, and web filtering solutions.Provide security administration in a mainframe environment to ensure system integrity and compliance.Develop and maintain access roles, groups, and permissions to support secure authentication and authorization processes.Manage user administration functions across various multi-user services applications, including Active Directory.Support audit and compliance activities to meet agency requirements and standards.What's Needed?At least 5 years of experience with concepts of authentication, authorization, Active Directory policies, ADFS, and web filtering solutions.Proven experience in security administration within a mainframe environment.Experience in access role development, maintenance, and defining application-level roles, groups, and permissions.Strong knowledge of user administration functions across various multi-user services applications.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate security concepts clearly.
