Manager, Fundamental Research Group (FRG) – New York Capital Group seeks a Manager to lead our New York team of Equity and Fixed Income Research Associates. The Manager will partner closely with investment professionals and global FRG peers to anticipate research needs and deliver high‑quality outcomes that support investment decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end‑to‑end research delivery, prioritizing workflow, ensuring quality and timeliness, and continuously improving processes to meet regional and global needs. Build strong partnerships with investment professionals, serving as the primary point of contact for research requests and aligning team priorities with business objectives. Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team environment by providing coaching, feedback, and development to support associate growth and engagement. Drive team effectiveness by proactively identifying capability needs, addressing bottlenecks, and partnering with HR and Talent Acquisition on recruiting and succession planning. Requirements Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams with a strong foundation in fundamental investment research. Strong understanding of investment research requirements and the ability to translate them into high‑quality outputs that support investment decision‑making. Ability to identify, recruit, and coach investment research talent, strengthening overall team capability. Experience managing complex workflows, exercising sound judgment, and operating effectively in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning. Ability to build trusted relationships, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and leverage data and technology to enhance outcomes. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $213,795 – $342,072 (New York). Individual annual performance bonus and Capital’s annual profitability bonus.
