About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a busy Gastroenterology practice in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while supporting physicians, clinical staff, and patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while ensuring exceptional patient care and service.

Position Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator, the LVN will:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area
• Support patient safety, comfort, and education according to organizational and professional standards
• Utilize sound clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs and coordinate care
• Perform patient assessments and document appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical workflows
• Follow all regulatory, legal, and organizational policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program
• Current, active, and unrestricted Texas LVN License
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency Program
• Ability to operate clinical equipment and related supplies appropriate for the patient population served
• Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and patient care skills
