Position Overview 2nd Shift Landing Gear Technician, Miami, FL. 2nd Shift Hours are 2 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Eligibility Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not provide visa sponsorship or accept candidates requiring sponsorship. Responsibilities Disassemble, clean and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion, or damage Utilize knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components Perform polishing, honing, and/or plating of various landing gear parts, including cylinders, pistons, and bushings, using specialized tools and equipment Measure components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to verify compliance with specifications Assist in troubleshooting component issues and recommend repair or replacement Accurately complete all required paperwork including inspection records, work orders, and traceability logs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints Familiarity with FAA regulations and Part 145 repair station requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods #J-18808-Ljbffr GA Telesis
