LEAD SERVER AND BARTENDER

Job Summary: The Lead Server and Lead Bartender are responsible for assisting with overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant's front-of-house and bar areas. You will provide exceptional service to our members and guests, lead and assist with training the serving and bartending staff, and ensure that all service standards and procedures are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Key Responsibilities:Assist F&B Management with leading the serving and bartending staff, providing guidance and support as neededAssist with training new servers and bartenders on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer service skillsEnsure that all guests receive prompt, friendly, and efficient serviceMaintain a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus and make recommendations to guestsOversee the set-up and organization of the dining area and bar, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levelsMonitor and manage inventory levels for the bar, including ordering and restocking supplies as neededHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely mannerCollaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service flowImplement and enforce all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage proceduresSupport management when conducting regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and address any issues or concernsAssist in creating and updating standard operating procedures, training materials and monthly inventory.Other job duties as assigned.Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.Reports to: Restaurant Managers and Director of Food & BeverageSupervises: NONEEducation/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a fellow team members. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including service techniques, menu items, and alcoholic beverages. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management and reporting.Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective communication between all staff members. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests or members of the community.
