The Professional Staff Nurse II, BSN is a Registered Nurse responsible for setting care standards and ensuring high-quality nursing care. They manage patient care for a group of patients and their families, using independent judgment and collaborating with the care team. This role involves leadership, partnership, and supervision, while maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The Professional Staff Nurse is committed to the community and the nursing profession.

Responsibilities:

• Use the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care to create a healing environment, set care goals, and address patients’ clinical, social, and emotional needs.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing patient satisfaction and care.
• Apply evidence-based practices to improve clinical care and patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and document patient information clearly.
