What We're Looking For
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician with proven surgical experience who is confident, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient safety.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Active RVT credentials
- Experience assisting in a high-volume surgical environment
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery protocols
- Proficiency with surgical preparation, sterile technique, and instrument handling
- Confidence placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and collecting diagnostic samples
- Experience with dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- The ability to anticipate the needs of veterinarians during procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client education
- A positive, collaborative approach to teamwork
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Fear Free certification or experience utilizing Fear Free handling techniques
- Experience in an AAHA-accredited practice
- Feline Friendly Practice experience
- A passion for mentoring and supporting fellow team members
