Operations Supervisor

Department & Location Department: Restoration Location: Dallas, TX Job Summary Applicants must be willing to travel for an extended length of time, pass a background check, and provide the required documentation for an I‑9. This role leads and works alongside general labor on event‑driven projects, ensuring quality work, meeting deadlines, maintaining high integrity, and fostering a team environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct basic cleaning for fire, water and mold, including wipe‑down, inventory control, debris removal, wrapping goods, and vehicle load/unload. Meet deadlines by maintaining or exceeding productivity. Assist PM or APM in training agency general labor on projects. Lead a crew, explaining job tasks and working side‑by‑side with crew members. Communicate effectively with all employees to promote a positive environment. Abide by all safety and company policies. Report to work on time when scheduled. Safety Use personal protective equipment required for fire, water and mold jobs; report violations to the Superintendent. Report accidents and unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately to a supervisor. Understand the safety program and abide by all safety policies and procedures. Typical Decisions Made or Referred Assist APM or PM in reviewing work to ensure items are properly cleaned, avoiding repeat work. Assist APM or PM in ensuring all safety equipment is available for specific job sites, including vehicle checklists. Perform tasks with the team to ensure quality products/services. Typical Problems Encountered Not perceived as a lead person; staff may not respond initially. Scope of job not properly estimated, leading to time overruns or shortages. Education High School Diploma/GED preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively. Experience Team Lead or Crew Lead experience. Commercial cleaning experience is a plus. Restoration, construction or general labor experience. Minimum 1 year of working experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays. Ability to travel for an extended amount of time (required). Knowledge & Skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours at a time). Ability to bend, squat, reach over shoulder and head consistently. Ability to perform repetitive motion such as cleaning rotations. Ability to work in hot and smoky environments. Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., full‑face respirators, eye goggles).
