We currently have over 80 locations in twenty-six states coast-to-coast and have been in business for 30 years.If you are looking for a company in which you can learn and grow, our countrywide, well-established pet care facility may be the perfect place for you!Responsibilities:Cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, condos, general boarding areas, and kitchenFeeding and watering pet guestsMonitoring and charting every pet guestMonitoring pet belongingsLaundering dutiesAssisting other associates and performing other duties as neededSkills RequiredPossess a love of animalsDisplays a professional manner at all timesAbility to work evenings, weekends & holidaysLift/carry 40 pounds or moreAble to stand/walk for eight hours a dayAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to work on a computer systemAble to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.Essential Job FunctionsWelcomes both human and pet guestsCan correctly identify animal body language/behaviorFollows safe handling proceduresChecking in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer serviceEscorts pets to and from their roomsCan work both individually and as a team player while performing dutiesContributes in maintaining the cleanliness of the facilityCommunication with management and other team membersSanitizes/disinfects pet suites, condos & general boarding areasCan correctly identify animal body language/behaviorMonitors and accurately charts consumption and elimination of every pet and reports any concerns to managementProvides individual care of all boarding guestsFeed and medicate according to instructionsPerforms activities as scheduledRequired EducationHigh School Graduate or EquivalentAt least 1 year of professional animal experienceThe compensation information below is provided in compliance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. The hourly pay range for this position is $13 to $14 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, schedule availability, geographic location, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for incentives and overtime opportunities, where applicable.
