Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Miami, Florida. The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The essential work functions include preparing the operating room, assisting in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, monitoring the patient's condition during surgery, handling surgical instruments and supplies, managing specimen collection, documenting all aspects of patient care, participating in patient handoff communication, assisting in cleaning and restocking the operating room, collaborating with the surgical team, following hospital safety rules, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required essential skills include critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills, physical abilities, interpersonal skills, technical/motor skills, mental requirements, and sensory abilities.
