Early Childhood Lead Teacher

ICW is currently searching for passionate and energetic Lead Teachers to join our amazing team. Join our team at a state‑of‑the‑art newly renovated center to help guide our young learners as they meet developmental milestones and begin a stimulating learning adventure in an Islamic nurturing environment. ICW will provide our teachers with professional growth opportunities while celebrating each other’s accomplishments. Our teachers will consistently awaken possibilities through our Islamic Studies and secular curricula. We are currently looking for full‑time candidates. Responsibilities Inspiring children to want to learn more about themselves and the world around them, and delighting in their individual accomplishments. Focusing on Islamic studies, etiquettes, and values. Developing meaningful relationships with families through personal discussions and communications throughout the day. Creating a learning environment that is fun, stimulating and engaging. Working collaboratively alongside fellow teachers and administrative staff. Requirements Lead Teachers (15 months – Grade 1) Associates or higher in Early Childhood Education, with one year of experience OR equivalent certification (CDA). (Associates or Bachelors in ECE preferred). Complies with all state education and licensing standards and NAEYC guidelines. Previous experience in a licensed preschool or early development center is preferred. Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to incorporate Islamic Studies etiquette in all subjects. Lead Teachers (Grades 2 - 4) Bachelor’s Degree in elementary or middle grades education from a state-approved program. Basic skills test. State teaching license. Approved coursework in four different content areas – preferred. Proven work experience as a Lead Teacher or similar role. Experience in teaching and planning lessons. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to foster a positive classroom environment. Ability to incorporate Islamic Studies etiquette in all subjects. Previous experience in teaching elementary students – preferred.
