Position Registered Nurse (RN) Job Type PRN / Non-Exempt Shift Details As-needed; 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (required to work two 12‑hour shifts per month) Work Setting Crisis - Recovery Response Center; Peoria, AZ Salary / Hourly Wage $40.00 – $45.00 per hour Specialties / Licenses or Certifications Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse State specific RN license Summary of Job The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and nursing care for individuals served. The RN also serves as a clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Care & Advocacy: Coordinate services with community health, mental health, and social service agencies. Assist individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans. Provide individual and family counseling. Participate in the development of educational curriculum. Supervise and/or provide nursing treatment and monitoring such as diabetes and blood pressure. Respond to crisis calls for assessment and intervention as needed. Coordinate relationships with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services. Administer medication as required by protocol. Complete clinical documentation. Stay abreast of federal, state regulations, and Recovery Innovations policies. Adhere to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as stated in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care. Perform other related duties assigned. Job Requirements Education/Licenses: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; valid, current state-specific RN license (Compact license preferred). Experience: Minimum of one year in a behavioral health setting. Skills: Knowledge of psychiatric medications, basic computer skills, attention to detail, problem‑solving, assessment and treatment planning, verbal and written communication, listening, documentation skills; trauma‑informed care experience preferred; bilingual preferred. Additional Requirements: Must pass de‑escalation training; meet driving policy if required; travel as needed; age requirements per state; complete credentialing and confidentiality obligations. Background Checks: Must pass seven‑year background check, substance abuse and/or tuberculosis testing (if applicable), education verification, fingerprinting clearance; motor vehicle report if driving required. Physical Demands Close visual tasks, wrist, hand, finger motions, eye‑hand coordination, use of vision aids; may lift up to 20 pounds. Work Environment Office or behavioral health facility, potential contact with agitated individuals, travel within region.
