Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The Staffing organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse in Concord, NC. This position entails providing care in a prep and recovery unit for patients following cardiac catheterization, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. The role involves managing patients with complex diagnoses, performing neurovascular checks, and supporting procedural interventions within a busy, collaborative environment. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS, ACLS; minimum of 2 years of Critical Care, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), or Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience; experience with Cath/EP/Vascular labs required. Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a schedule cycle of 4-5 weeks. Responsibilities include monitoring patients with bedside monitors and nurses' stations, managing moderate sedation cases, site management, and potential support for procedural areas including EP and vascular labs. Support within the Department: Charge nurse, RT available with call, hospitalist services 24/7 with APPs and NPs from 6:30 am to 7 pm. Support equipment includes EKG, glucometers, iSTAT, and unit-specific tools such as Dopplers and groin device compression devices. Float: Possibility to float to electrophysiology and procedural areas, as discussed during interview. Orientation: Typically includes 1-2 precepted shifts, with orientation conducted at facility and unit levels.
