As a Supported Living Services Supervisor you will have more than just a job – you will have the opportunity to directly impact someone's life for the better! You will work with individuals in their homes and surrounding communities. As a Supported Living Services Supervisor, you will train and supervise employees who teach and assist clients in building skills necessary to live independently in their own home. You will oversee Supported Living Services that are provided in the individual's home and in varied community settings in the Los Angeles, Gardena/Hawthorne, CA area. Locations: Los Angeles County (Hollywood, Downtown LA, Koreatown, West LA, Santa Monica, South Bay, Culver City, Inglewood, Gardena, Hawthorne, San Pedro, Long Beach) Reporting Office: Culver City, CA Schedule: Full‑Time | On‑Call Rotation | Evenings/Weekends Required | Some Overnights Pay: Starts at $70,304.00 per year (Salaried, Exempt) Your daily routine can include: Facilitating meaningful community connections Lead team meetings Supervise direct support staff and senior staff Develop creative individual program plans and supervise implementation Provide direct support, emergency on‑call support, and crisis intervention as needed Training staff to teach independent life skills Maintain positive relationships with the people served Increasing helpful, adaptive behaviors Having fun! What is Supported Living? Supported Living Services allow individuals with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes in the community, while developing independent living skills, creating meaningful relationships, and participating as active members in their families and communities. Qualifications This mid‑level position requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred; or comparable training and experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disability, and/or challenging behaviors. Requirements Successful candidates will demonstrate honesty and respect while maintaining a positive, professional work ethic. Must have a prominent level of accountability and dependability. Knowledge of positive behavior supports a plus! Minimum: Bachelor's Degree, and 6 years of related experience in the field Must pass Supervisor exam upon hire and to maintain current role Proven experience as personal care assistant Committed to health & safety Excellent organization, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities Computer proficiency and strong documentation habits Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics Physical stamina Willing to do direct care Maintains on‑call responsibility for emergency, by pager. This includes 24‑hour on‑call availability when scheduled. Substitute if a senior staff is not available to fill in for CSC who did not make it work. Able to support clients in their daily routines; including, but not limited to, nutrition, self‑care, social, recreational, personal relationships, money management, etc. Knowledge of positive behavior support practices Be certified in CPR/First Aid/ and ProAct within the first two weeks of employment Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and lift 25 lbs. Successfully pass a background check Possess a valid California Driver's license and provide current driving record issued by the DMV.
