Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Night shift from 18:30 to 07:00, scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with pediatric and NICU experience, specifically in a Level 2 NICU. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in various respiratory therapies, including assistance with intubation and use of CPAP/BiPAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients in pediatric and neonatal units.
• Perform intubation and extubation as needed, assisting with emergency procedures.
• Conduct evaluations and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care across departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of NICU and pediatric experience required.
• Current MD License required.
• Certifications: CRT or RRT; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
