Job Title: Splicing Technician

Pay: $30-40/hr. ($110/day Per Diem) working 50 hours per week

Job Description

As a Splicing Technician, you will perform advanced fusion splicing of reduced-diameter fiber and high-strand-count cables, including both ribbon and loose-tube constructions. Your expertise will ensure consistent, low-loss results in both mass fusion splicing and precision single-fiber splicing.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced fusion splicing on reduced-diameter fiber and high-strand-count cables.
• Execute mass fusion (ribbon) splicing with precision and low-loss results.
• Conduct precision single-fiber splicing with consistent quality.
• Ensure compliance with clear regulatory requirements.
• Possess reliable transportation to various job sites.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in fusion splicing techniques.
• Experience working on data centers or large construction sites.
• Ability to perform precision splicing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Openness to travel is beneficial for long-term contract opportunities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
