About the Role
The Company is seeking a President for Medicare Products to oversee the strategic direction, development, and implementation of Medicare programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of these products, ensuring compliance with the goals set by executive leadership and the board of directors. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including achieving revenue and profitability targets, maintaining customer and provider satisfaction, and leading the strategy for Medicare and Veterans programs. The President will also be involved in the development and maintenance of clinical and quality programs, as well as establishing systems for measuring compliance and operational management. Candidates for the President, Medicare Products position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of ten years of experience in a managed care setting, particularly related to Medicare programs. The role requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as extensive problem-solving experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managerial, financial, and customer service skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Responsibilities also include directing the annual bid/benefit Medicare Advantage product filing process, supporting the development of care and utilization management processes, and leading essential Medicare sales functions.
