Compliance Analyst- Leasing Department

Description Position at Shared Apartment Services. Shared Apartment Services is hiring a Compliance Analyst to join our Chicago Leasing Team. The annual salary for this role is $55,000 with full benefits after 90 days of employment. Overall Responsibility The Compliance Analyst is a team member of the Compliance Department assisting and implementing quality assurance and qualification guidelines for Residential Lease submissions. Essential Functions The focus of this role is to actively identify and implement quality assurance processes associated with Residential Leasing. Audit lease submissions to ensure all leasing quality standards are met. Position responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of proof of income, lease application workflow, and quality assurance flow for data collection purposes. Coordinating with other teams including Leasing, Resident Services, Retention, Accounting and Maintenance. Ensure that all sales compliance procedures adhere to Federal, State & Local Fair Housing regulations. Complete employment verifications when required. Audit Subsidy application to ensure proper guidelines are followed. Measure and identify opportunities for procedural improvement, provide recommendations, and execute ideas. Other projects as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Prior experience in process improvement preferred. Proficient in basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Excellent written and oral communications skills Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize & manage time required. Critical thinking skills Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the role.
