Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour starting
Job description:
MUST BE LOCAL AND HAVE KITCHEN EXPERIENCE/KITCHEN SAFETY KNOWLEDGE
6 days a week 11:30am-6pm one of those days 11:30am-10pm
Sunday : 11:30-6pm
Monday: 11:30-6pm
Tuesday 11:30-10pm
Wed: 11:30-6pm
Thursdays off
Fridays 11:30-5pm
Saturday 11:30-6pm
More hours can be added if desired
Duties:
-Putting away food deliveries, breaking down boxes, and disposing in dumpster
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, and cutting meat
-Cook on the line
- Assist in the preparation of dishes according to the recipes or instructions provided
- Ensure that all food items are cooked and presented according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and follow their instructions
Skills:
- Previous experience is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen is a REQUIRMENT of this position.
