Service Manager

We're seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic Brooklyn restaurant. Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure the team is prepared for each service. Train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff while fostering a positive, accountable team culture. Maintain strong floor presence, overseeing pacing, table management, and execution of service standards. Engage with guests throughout service, resolve concerns, and create memorable hospitality experiences. Partner with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and service. Support reservations, staffing, opening/closing procedures, and overall restaurant operations. Maintain strong food, beverage, and wine knowledge and help develop the team's expertise. Service Manager Qualifications Minimum 1 year of management experience in a full-service restaurant. Proven ability to lead high-caliber service in an upscale or fine dining environment. Strong hospitality, leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Experience with wine sales and beverage service. Ability to remain composed under pressure and solve problems quickly. Proficiency with POS and reservation systems, with the ability to support the host/Maître D function. Knowledge of NYC health, safety, and food protection regulations.
