In your role as a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health unit, you will be essential in providing top-notch care to patients. Your skills and commitment will foster a nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth.
- Implement the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established nursing protocols, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with care standards
- Design, initiate, and implement individualized patient care plans
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the department or unit
- Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments/units
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues as necessary
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting
- Current RN license in Wisconsin or a Multi-state license
- CPR and BLS certifications are mandatory
