Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple schools, working with a diverse caseload and leading a dedicated support team.

As the lead OT, you’ll oversee the delivery of therapeutic interventions for a caseload of approximately 120 students. Collaborate closely with a team of three COTAs, guiding them across the district to meet each student’s unique needs. While most work takes place at a primary location, some travel between nearby schools is required, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with educators and students throughout the area.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Tennessee
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with COTAs
• Reliable transportation for inter-school travel

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, direct intervention, and progress monitoring for students’ occupational therapy needs
• Oversee and mentor three COTAs to ensure consistent, high-quality therapy delivery
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state policies
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help each student reach their potential
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding student progress and needs
