Become a part of the “strength within.\"ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology.Hexcel is currently seeking a **Machine Operator I** at our **Amesbury, MA** location. **2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm****Pay Range: $23.81-$28.46 per hour****The CNC Machine Operator I will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:*** Operate various CNC and machine shop equipment* Accurately record manufacturing data into the computer* Inspect products for defects or imperfections and report any issues to supervisors/leads* Parts are periodically measured with micrometers and gauges. Deburring tools are used to clean until any flaws are corrected* Keep equipment and workspaces clean following 5S methodology* Work in compliance with both Amesbury Quality and EHS at all times* Complies with Hexcel policies, procedures, and Code of Business Conduct* Proactively participate in our safety-first culture**Qualifications:*** High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.* Experience running industrial equipment and mechanically inclined.* Ability to read and follow work instructions.* Must be able to read basic measurements devices and perform mathematical equations.* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.* Ability to read and interpret part drawings is a plus* Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.* Able to obtain a security clearance is a plusThis position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
