Leads those who manage the Launcher portfolio. The QPM Lead will oversee the implementation and execution of program quality requirements.
THE WORK
• Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support.
• Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers.
• Proficient in company policies.
• Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution.
• Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers.
• Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments.
• Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities.
• Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented.
• Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits).
• Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans.
• Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship.
• Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm. WHO WE ARE

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education • Strong understanding of AS9100 and other industry quality standards • Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment. • Experience developing and driving Quality Management strategies resulting in optimal business outcomes. • Effective presentation skills and demonstrated ability to develop messages and compelling strategies resulting in cross functional teams implementing and executing innovative solutions. • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Desired skills • Background in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).
• Experience with creating and implementing new processes, while effectively managing change
• 10 Years of complex Quality Experience
• AS9100 Lead Auditor
• Development Program Experience
• Green Belt
• CAM Experience
• Basis of Estimates (BOE) and/or Proposal Experience

National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835.
