Key Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to interpret physical examination findings, establishing the extent of their physical dysfunction related to medical conditions, musculoskeletal issues, or rehabilitation needs.
• Care Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on the evaluation, taking into account each patient's age, medical history, and specific functional impairments.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly communicate with patients, supervisors, and multidisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, treatment adjustments, and any observed challenges in rehabilitation.
• Document Management: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to all licensing, payer, and accrediting guidelines.
• Patient and Family Education: Provide professional guidance and support to patients' families and nursing staff in executing care plans and understanding follow-through programs.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure that all therapeutic equipment and your work area are kept clean, safe, and organized according to best practices and health standards.
• Compliance Adherence: Uphold company policies, including the Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws and regulations, while managing job responsibilities effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients rehabilitating from surgeries and chronic conditions. You will leverage your orthopedic and sports rehabilitation knowledge to adapt treatments that consider individual patient needs and health backgrounds, offering a high level of personalized care that leads to improved mobility and function.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing in the State of California.
• Completion of an accredited Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Strong knowledge base in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation techniques.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working in orthopedics or a related area of rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and understanding best practices in documentation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based exercise programs tailored for various comorbidities.
• Background in patient education and engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 , commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
