Key features include:* 24/7 access to board-certified emergency physicians and experienced nurses.* Private patient care rooms equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring.* A minor care treatment area for conditions that need quick evaluation and release.* On-site imaging services — including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI — to support rapid diagnosis.* Designation as Acute Stroke Ready, meaning it can quickly stabilize and treat stroke patients before transfer if needed.* Coordination with the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance for critically ill patients requiring transfer to higher-level hospitals.* A family-friendly waiting area designed for comfort and privacy.These services ensure comprehensive emergency care for the Virginia Beach community, with immediate stabilization and transfer options available when advanced care is required.**Job Summary:**The **Registered Nursing (RN)** is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
