Job Description

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and formulate bespoke therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques: Employ verified methods to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living abilities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrative care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide knowledge on therapeutic practices to ensure sustained progress outside the clinical environment
• Monitor and Record Patient Progress: Evaluate clinical results and refine treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Support for continuous education and post-graduate certifications is available

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
