Emergency Medicine Physician Locums Job in Louisiana 12 Hour Shifts Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Beginning ASAP (Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days - Expedited locum privileges available with clean malpractice)
Estimated Length of Assignment: 12-18 months
Two providers needed
Minimum # of Shifts Acceptable: 3

Shift Description
6a-6p and 6p-6a

Requirements
Board Certified in EM, FM, or IM with emergency medicine experience
If not ABEM: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Active Louisiana medical license
Active DEA and CDS
Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM

Assignment Details
Annual volume: 16,000
Patients per day: 45
EMS percentage: 12.40%
Admission rate: 8%
ED beds: 7 (3 fast track)
Staffing model: 24 MD, 12 NP/PA
Backup specialties: cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, podiatry, surgery
No scribe coverage
EMR: Cerner Community Works
NP/PA shifts:
Monday-Wednesday: 9a-9p
Thursday-Friday: 10a-8p
Saturday-Sunday: 12p-8p
